Top Birding Sites of Europe

A beautifully illustrated book, covering all the best sites for birds from Svalbard in the north, to the Straits of Gibraltar in the south and from The Azores in the far west, across to the Russian Kalmykian Steppes. Thirty sites in total are covered, with well-known locations such as Lesbos (Greece) and Coto Donana (Spain) rubbing shoulders with, perhaps, lesser-known destinations such as Pripyat River (Belarus).

Each site is covered in detail, with usually six pages dedicated to describing the site, its main features and birds to be expected during each season and more details on some of the specialities of the area.
