Finding a juvenile Ruff at the Nunnery Lakes earlier this week prompted me to have a look at the reporting rate and sure enough, we're nearing the peak time for this species appearing on BirdTrack complete lists. Another species to look out for next week at inland water bodies is Black Tern, whilst any prolonged seawatching in favourable conditions should produce a few Arctic Skuas.
