As the week draws to a close, I always cast an eye over the BirdTrack flickr pool for inspiration. This week has seen a glut of fabulous images being added; Penwith Nature's fantastic study of a beautiful juvenile Dotterel immediately caught my attention amidst some very stiff competition. Although Dotterels occasionally linger into October, most will already be well on their way towards their wintering grounds in North Africa by next month so there won't be many more opportunities for sights like this in 2010.
