Irish ringers tell us about their CES experiences in 2012.

Declan, Co Kildare

Weather has been a disaster in Ireland also. We have started a CES in Co. Kildare this year thanks mostly to Niall and Sean, two of my C ringers. They have got all visits done so far, I was on 3 of them. As it is the first year, we have nothing to compare with, but catches are ok.

I am finding it difficult with my Swallow and Sand Martin RAS. Numbers seem to be down plus I haven’t made as many visits as I would like, but there is still time if weather improves.
