Join BTO Youth on a urban birding guided walk, around the scenic Beckenham Place Park in Greater London. Hosted by Humphrey (BTO Youth Representative, London).

This event will comprise of a ~2km* walk around Beckenham Place Park, identifying potential wintering UK species and spending equal times in open areas, woodland, and at the swimming lake. Attendees will gain insight into the BTO WeBS surveys and Garden BirdWatch. There will be an optional mindfulness practice, perfectly situated in the woodland site. Open to beginner birders, but any level is welcome to join.

Binoculars can be provided on request. Toilet and food / drink options can be found on site. Nearby train and bus services are available - please let us know if support is required.

Please note that this event is free to attend and open to 16–25-year-olds. After registering, participants under 18 will need to fill in a consent form with their parent(s)/carer(s) and send this to youth [at] bto.org before the event.
