Join BTO's Youth Representatives in a Q&A with Fauna and Flora International's Director of Climate & Nature Linkages, Zoë Quiroz Cullen.

In this session, Zoe will talk about her career to date and answer your questions about the climate crisis, the biodiversity crises, and how her work tries to tackle both. Zoë is Director of the Climate & Nature Linkages programme at Fauna & Flora International (FFI). Her work focuses on driving an integrated response to the biodiversity and climate crises, supporting FFI projects and partners to implement, and advocate for, high integrity nature-based solutions to climate change.

Zoë joined FFI in 2006, and has worked in a range of roles and geographies. From 2009 to 2011 she lived and worked in Sumatra, working with FFI and regional partners to establish a Village Forest and community-based REDD+ programme of work in the landscape around Kerinci Seblat National Park. She later held senior positions within the Conservation Finance & Enterprise programme, focussed on developing long-term sustainable financing strategies for conservation. A strong focus on climate finance, and nature-based solutions more broadly, led to her current role.

Zoë has a BSc in Zoology from Bristol University, an MSc in Environmental Policy, Planning and Regulation from the LSE, and MBA from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. She represents FFI on the Steering Committee of the Natural Climate Solutions Alliance, which is convened by the World Economic Forum and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
