Family: Passeriformes > Muscicapidae
Resembling a Redstart but living in much more scrubby habitats, the White-throated Robin breeds in south-west Asia and migrates to eastern Africa for the winter. It is an extremely rare visitor to Britain.
With just a couple of British records, the species was added to the British List on the basis of a female that was present for several days on Skokholm, Pembrokeshire in May 1990.
