David Peckham is on his way. A signal around 9.00pm on 1 July showed he had left the UK and was in Lorraine, northeastern France. He continued south east and, by 03.24 on 2 July was in Switzerland, close to Eschenbach.

Derek still in the Broads
Derek is still in the Norfolk Broads, in the area that he arrived in on 26 April.Last year, he left on 22 July.
Chris in no hurry to leave
Chris is still in the area of Cavenham Heath that he arrived in on 29 April. Last year he left the UK on 7 July.
David still close to Tregaron
David is one of four out of eighteen Cuckoos that we are following this year that is still in the UK. Last year he left Wales for France on 1 July, so, he could leave any day now.

Newly named Cuckoo, David Peckham, is on his way. He has left his tagging site in the Yorkshire Dales and is currently in Suffolk, 11km (7 miles) south of the BTO headquarters.

Cuckoo 146760 is currently unnamed but this could change in the very near future. 146760 has continued south and is currently in southern France, close to Nimes.
Fred settled in France
Better quality signals from Fred confirm that he is still in the area close to La Roche-sur-Yon in western France. He has been in this area since he arrived there on 10 June.
Jake heads east
Since we last heard from Jake we have received some good quality signals that show he has moved east. He is currently in central France north of Nevers.
Charlie settled in France
Having arrived in the Auvergne region of central France twelve days ago, Charlie seems settled. It probably won't be too long before he is on his way again
Larry in Hungary
Newly named Cuckoo, Larry, is currently our most easterly Cuckoo. Having left his tagging site in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire, he has flown 1,583km (983 miles) southeast and is currently in Hungary, southeast of Taplanszentkereszt.
