In this afternoon session, Gethin Jenkins-Jones will help you learn how to identify common Welsh birds by their plumage and songs. Packed with fun memory aids, activities and games, this event welcomes those of all ID abilities. Birds have long been a part of Welsh culture, inspiring songs, poems and literature and, likewise, we hope that in this session they’ll inspire you, and transform your time outdoors enjoying nature this spring.

This event will take place at WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre between 13:00 and 15:00

Please bring your own binoculars (though we do have spares) and a notebook, and make sure to wear appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.
