An opportunity to practise wader and waterbird ID, as well as learn more about the Wetland Bird Survey (WeBS) during this relaxed field outing.Please email Jemma directly to express your interest - jemma.davies@bto.org

This birdwatching opportunity will give you the opportunity to put your ID skills into action as we find out what birds can be seen from the Newcastle area. Jemma will be there from 11am to 1pm, with a dedicated WeBS slot at 12pm when we'll discuss the methods and give it a go together.

The session will be relaxed and we will be outside for the whole time so we recommend bringing warm and waterproof clothes, as well as binoculars and telescopes if you have some.

The event is free of charge.
