This 1-day training event for BTO volunteers, led by an experienced external trainer, will focus on three main areas:
- Presenting in public.
- Promoting events/activities through social media and other channels.
- Organising and leading outdoor activities.
Places are free and participant travel expenses will be covered. Refreshments will be provided, though participants will need to bring their own lunch.
Participants won't be expected to deliver something independently following this training but we will strongly encourage each group of attendees to organise and run one engagement or survey recruitment/training event, ideally within 12 months of this day.
