Sian is responsible for leading on People and Organisation Development for BTO, key roles include lead for Health, Safety, and Wellbeing, Designated Lead for Safeguarding, and contact for Whistleblowing and Equity Diversity and Inclusion. 

Interests & Responsibilities

Sian has nearly 15 years of experience in human resources in local government and now as Head of People at BTO. She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, qualifications and training in Coaching and Mentoring, and Safeguarding, and is a Mental Health First Aider.

Sian teaches HR modules on Cambridge University’s Masters in Conservation Leadership. 

Out of work, Sian enjoys spending time with family, including her wonderful daughter Freya, and trying to improve her bird knowledge, currently through taking on her own WeBS patch at Needham Lake in Suffolk.
