Owl
Another in this popular series of little books, this time tackling a very popular group of birds. The owls have long been part of human tradition and folklore, and beloved of modern birdwatchers as well, meaning there was certainly plenty of fascinating material to mine for this book. Written by well-known author Desmond Morris, this is a very readable account of owls, from a refreshingly different angle. Other recent titles in this series that may appeal are ‘Pigeon’ and ‘Penguin’.
