Harriers are stunning, lithe and elegant birds of prey. Two species of grey harrier are regularly found in the UK, Hen Harrier and Montagu's Harrier.
The males are relatively easy to separate, but the females and young birds can be more tricky. Identification can be complicated by the possibility of finding a Pallid Harrier in autumn and winter.
This ID video will help you learn the key features needed to separate these three beautiful harrier species.
