Recent technical issues with BTO website

If you attempted to change your account password, email address or other personal account details between Friday 16 - Tuesday 20 August 2019, you may need to make those changes again due to an BTO website database problem. This didn't affect survey data submitted via survey data entry applications. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or confusion caused during this period.

My BTO is our hub for all BTO supporters, including current or prospective volunteers for BTO surveys and schemes, Garden BirdWatch and BTO members.

My BTO allows you to  -

  • Access to current surveys and schemes you are participating in
  • Find out about and sign-up for new projects
  • Manage your BTO or GBW membership
  • Manage your personal information and contact preferences

Your Privacy

BTO takes your privacy very seriously. We will handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Statement. The provision of services via a registered account on the BTO website are covered by a registration agreement, in addition to our Website Terms & Conditions of Use.
