Join BTO Youth and RSPB for two optional walks around the RSPB Rainham Marshes Nature Reserve, guided by young volunteers Samuel Levy, Humphrey Keeper, Mya Bambrick and Ben.

Join Youth Volunteers Samuel, Humphrey, Mya and RSPB Volunteer Ben for one of two young birders walks around Rainham Marshes Nature Reserve, marked out as part of the Thames Estuary and one of the best nature reserves London has to offer. There is the option to join an earlier walk at 09:30 - 12:30, which you can also sign up for. This event will give the opportunity to meet other like-minded young people with an interest in birds, build on new connections, and learn various birding expertise from our hosts.

The site is approximately a 2.5 mile circular walk and is wheelchair friendly, with toilets available at the Visitor Centre and halfway on route. We will aim to be finished by around 16:00pm.

This event is ran with the support of BTO and RSPB

Please note that this event is open primarily to 12–25-year-olds. Participants under 18 will need to fill in a consent form with their parent(s)/carer(s) and send this to BTO before the event.
