Join BTO's Youth Representatives in a Q&A with environmentalist, producer and author, Mary Colwell.

In this session, Mary will talk about her career to date and answer your questions about Curlew, the Natural History GCSE, journalism and more. 

Mary is a producer and writer interested in all aspects of the natural world. She is particularly drawn to the complex and shifting interface between wildlife and society, where the most inspiring and difficult issues lie. She set up Curlew Action, a charity to further the conservation of Curlew, and she is the Chair of the Curlew Recovery Partnership England. She is also the Chair of the Steering Group, as well as a Trustee, of New Networks for Nature, which is an alliance of scientists, conservationists and artists. Alongside this, she is also leading the campaign for the GCSE in Natural History and she is an accomplished radio producer and author. 

This event will take place on Zoom and is open to those under 25 only. The link will be sent out 24 hours before the event. Please note that attendees under 13 will need to send in a consent form prior to the event.
