Join BTO's Youth Representatives to find out how to identify birds. From structure and size to feathers and flight, they will guide you through the methods of identifying birds.

Noticing birds as you go on your walk is one thing, but identifying them is another! Youth Representative Gethin Jenkins-Jones will help you get to grips with the anatomy of a bird, what to look out for when you see one flying over, or perched  in a tree, and how to use birdguides to get started with your own identification skills.

This event is part of the 12-part BTO Youth's Birding 101 series. Find out more about the series and other sessions here

Please note that this event is open to under 25-year-olds only and will take place on Zoom. Participants under 13 will need to fill in a consent form with their parent(s)/carer(s) and send this to BTO before the event.
