BTO NI hosts a wide variety of public events throughout the year. These range from training courses encouraging participation in our core surveys, to more informal field outings and mentoring, bird identification courses, our annual Seabird Report Launch and annual BTO NI Birdwatchers' Conference. Bitesize Waterbird ID Online Northern Ireland (2 sessions, Tuesdays 7:30pm)

Short interactive online workshops to introduce waterbird ID in Northern Ireland. An opportunity to learn about common ducks, geese and other waterbirds and how to identify them in the field, for folk new to birdwatching and those looking for a refresher.
